Tesco enters used car warranty market
Supermarket giant Tesco has launched warranty plans for owners of used cars
The Tesco Car Warranty plans allow customers to protect their cars and pockets from £9.90 a month. Providing the car is under 10 years old and has less than 100,000 miles on the clock, the warranty plans will cover it.According to Tesco Personal Finance, the plans could offer relief for the motorists who are putting off buying a new car until the economy settles.
Its research revealed that more than half of drivers questioned intended to keep their vehicle for longer than previously thought, with more than a third saying they would be keeping their vehicle for an extra two years.
