Cost of parking in London tops global list

London is the most expensive place in the world to park a car, according to a global parking rate report compiled by Colliers International, a property consultancy.

Monthly parking rates in the City of London top the list at Ł586 with the West End of London second at fractionally less. Those rates are about twice as much as New York and Tokyo.

Daily parking rate costs follow a similar pattern with the City of London leading the way, followed by Amsterdam, London’s West End, Moscow and The Hague.
