Valuing a really old car

How can I get a valuation for a very old car for my very old mum who has just stopped driving?! Your online facility didn't seem to go back that far!

1989 Rover Metro Studio 2, 1275CC, grey, 3-door, only 20,000 miles! Can you please advise? Thanks so much!

If this car is in good condition then it is a collectors' item for sure. I would say the best thing to do is take some very good pictures of it in a nice location, and then put it on eBay in the 'classic cars' section. Do not end the sale early - let it go to the finish. You should get a good price for it. Any opinion I give you would only be guesswork, but on eBay, the market will decide.

I remember when these were brand new - I was working at a Rover garage at the time cleaning cars - happy days!
