How can a Fiat Panda 4x4 2007 (07), less than 8 months old lose £3k from new?

What you are seeing is the difference between a retail selling price when new and a trade buying price after almost one year. Bear in mind that some retailers are currently offering 2007 56 plate Panda 4x4s with just 7k miles for £6,200 retail, which is a whopping £3,400 off the published list price of £9,640, so wholesale prices are fairly low at the minute.
